How does the Car Angels Program Work?
The Car Angels program is a “vehicle” (excuse the pun) to utilize crowd funding for the purpose of donating a car for someone who desperately 
needs one but perhaps may not be able to afford a car or a car note.  Individuals are nominated through friends or family and based on their support
of that campaign, will raise enough money to get a vehicle.  All vehicles are used, and although they are all checked for mechanical issues, there is
no guarantee of the vehicle, as is the case with most used vehicles in the price range of $1500- $5,000 they are AS IS.  Car Angels does its best,
along with its sponsors to check for major issues but these cars are purchased without guarantee and neither can we guarantee the car in any way.
The average value of the cars given away usually range between $2500- $5,000.  
To enter the Car Angels Application Form must be completed in full.  There is no guarantee of acceptance as Car Angels has the right to choose the campaigns
and people to participate in this program.

What are the benefits of the Car Angel Program as opposed to going to a regular car dealership?
Firstly, because we are a service organization our main goal is service and not profit. Therefore, with most of our cars, the amount of money needed to provide the car through
our campaign, can sometimes be double the price on a traditional lot.  Secondly, the car angel program makes it easy and traceable for all participants to see what was raised
and as a division of Billionaire Minds, a verified charity, you can be sure that your donation is going for the purpose that you intended.  Lastly, who would want to pass up the 
opportunity to become an “angel”?

 
Can the car Angel program be used to give individual cars for birthdays, etc..?
Of course!  

Why do you have an application process instead of accepting everyone nominated?
Because of the discounts granted by our sponsors we must be selective in choosing who can participate.  The businesses that support us commit to a number of vehicles
that are discounted just for us and this is not intended to replace vehicle purchasing.

What criteria are you using to determine who enters the program?
*Severity of the need for transportation
*Contribution of the individual to society
*Other factors such as circumstances as to why they are in need, etc..

Does how much is raised for the campaign determine the type of vehicle given?
Most definitely.  Although we can accommodate donating used vehicles of any amount, our suggested campaign amount is at least $1500.  The more 
money that is raised, the higher value car can be donated. The value of a car is based on make, model, milage, condition, and year.  So, the budget
of the campaign does determine the type of car that will be available for that budget.

What if the campaign amount is not reached?
If the campaign amount is not reached, the “credit” for the vehicle will remain for the individual that the campaign was intended for.  We cannot and do
not issue any money in this program.  We can only provide vehicles.  So if $300 was raised and that individual decides to try again later or give their
credit to someone else doing a campaign, it would be credited to the new campaign goal.

How long does it take to complete the campaign?
That all depends on the supports of the campaign… We generally recommend a 60 day campaign, but if the goal is reached sooner, then there is a possibility
that all of the funds can be distributed sooner, although our funding house determines that timeframe.

How does the funding work, does the individual receive the funds?
No.  All funds go to Billionaire Minds (the parent company of Car Angels) who purchases the car through our angel sponsors.  The car is then ready for pick up
by the individual.  The recipient is responsible for all taxes, liscences, and fees associated with the vehicle and will need to sign a form acknowledging such.

Why aren’t the fees and liscencing included in the campaign?
Because Car Angels is done nationwide and fees and taxes vary, we cannot be responsible for them.  As with all gift items, the recipient will be responsible to file
any appropriate taxes and obtain the licenses, etc, needed.  

Can We do a Car Angel program for a luxury car? 

Yes you can.  We still base our recipients on the stated criteria, however a luxury car can be given away, it just will require a much greater fundraising goal.
